Tina Odu

Tina Odu is a newly qualified Social Worker from Norfolk, England. She completed her Social Work Apprentice with the University of East Anglia, graduating in January 2026.
Originally from Nigeria, she volunteered with the Nigerian Red Cross Society, supporting internally displaced communities. After moving to the UK in 2018 for a master’s in international development, she volunteered with a local authority social services team, later joining as a development worker. In 2023, she began social work training, gaining experience in child protection and adult mental health. She is currently placed with an Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children’s team and serves as a student ambassador for the British Association of Social Workers.
